ORCA Medical Travel Insurance
UKODA have secured the services of ORCA Medical Travel Insurance for its international patients.
ORCA Medical Travel Insurance is underwritten out of Lloyds of London with its registration in Gibraltar. This policy will be exclusive to all clinics that are accredited by UKODA, and a standard commission arrangement will be in place for the benefit of those dental companies promoting this insurance to their clients.
Between 150,000 and 200,000 people travelled to abroad last year in search of the perfect smile at the perfect price. The downside to this statistic is that too high a percentage of these people travelled with no credible insurance that would protect them should they need to return to the clinic through no fault of their own for remedial treatment and at the same time save the dental provider from having to fund client return journeys.
